Pellets / Nuggets for Guinea Pigs

Because guinea pigs can't produce their own vitamin 'C', it helps to supplement their diet with a small portion of vitamin rich pellets each day. A good guinea pig food (often referred to as pellets or nuggets) will be specifically formulated to provide all of the vitamins and minerals your guinea pigs need.

Pellets should be placed in a non-tip bowl and carefully portion controlled. Our HayPigs!® Junior Food Tamer™ bowl provides an easy solution - one of these small bowls filled with pellets should be the right amount of daily pellets for two adult guinea pigs.

To keep your pellets fresh, we recommend storing them in an air-tight bag or container. Remember; even pellets have a 'use by' date, so do check this.
