Guinea pigs may be small animals, but when it comes to looking after them there’s actually a lot to talk about. We have tried our best to provide as much useful information as we can, including some personal hints and tips we’ve learnt since becoming guinea pig parents!

BEGINNER'S GUIDE
We start with our Beginner’s Guide which is the perfect place to start for newbies or those after a quick refresh! We go through everything you need to know about keeping guinea pigs as a pet. We’ve also got a handy checklist for those thinking of taking the leap and becoming piggy parents themselves!
HOUSING
In the Housing section, we look at the type of cage or enclosure suitable for guinea pigs, what size your cage should be and what bedding and accessories you can use. There’s also some all-important cleaning information too – get those rubber gloves out!
FEEDING
Regarding Feeding your piggies, it’s vital to understand which foods they need for a balanced diet. We’ll talk about the importance of hay and forage in a guinea pig’s diet, as well as guiding you as to what fresh food they can eat (and what to avoid!).

It has become a buzz-word of late, but there’s a very good reason why the Well-being of your guinea pigs is so important! By better understanding their behaviour (and being able to provide home health care too) you will increase the chances of your guinea pigs enjoying a long and happy life.
