For those of you with guinea pigs with destructive tendencies (in other words, a love of chewing and nibbling on their cage furniture!), you may wish to protect the edges of the corrugated plastic base (in your enclosure) with nibble guards.
Each guard is 35cm long and can be cut to length using a Stanley knife*.

Please take great care when cutting these nibble guards to length. This should be done by adults only. We recommend using either a shape Stanley knife (craft knife), a junior hacksaw or coping saw.
