If you’d like to add a lid to your enclosure, we’ve got you covered! The Ozzy Cages Lid Kit is designed with a set of hinges to one edge, so you can easily open and close it to access your piggies’ den. What’s more, all our lids come with a steel support bar to brace the lid across the middle of your enclosure, adding an extra level of safety and security.
Why might you want to add a lid to your enclosure?
If you have other pets in your home (like cats and dogs), being able to completely secure your enclosure (by adding a lid), offers an extra level of safety for your piggies. A lid can also come in handy if you wish to cover your cage with a blanket or sheet during cold or hot weather.
While this lid will provide reasonable protection from other pets, children or indeed, falling objects, it is not indestructible or impenetrable! Please do remain vigilant around your enclosure. For extra security, you may wish to consider fixing with a tie or ribbon when closed.
