Made from the finest quality alfalfa, HayDay's barn dried and long stem alfalfa hay (also known as lucerne) is a legume that is coarse, green and leafy. It provides a palatable option for small animals and is a step up in nutrition, being higher in protein and calcium to support health and development. Alfalfa Hay is most suited to breeding, young and growing small pets, as well as those that are unwell or recovering from injury.

FEEDING GUIDE

Forage (grass and/or hay) should represent the majority of the diet (80-95%) in order to maintain healthy digestive and dental function. Alfalfa Hay can be offered in small quantities alongside your pet's usual forage.
