FAQs
Can I treat my chinchilla with Beaphar Anti-Parasite Spot On?
No, we would not recommend treating your chinchilla with Beaphar Anti-Parasite Spot On. Firstly, chinchillas have extremely fine, dense fur. This is likely to become matted if a spot on treatment is applied. Secondly, this dense coat is usually a very good deterrent to skin parasites, so you should not need to use this product. If you are concerned that your chinchilla may have a skin problem of some kind, we recommend that you consult your vet about the best method of treatment.
I always use Beaphar Anti-Parasite Spot On treatment for my rabbits and guinea pigs. Is this treatment safe to use now my pet is pregnant?
No, you should not treat pregnant rabbits or guinea pigs with Beaphar Anti-Parasite Spot On. We recommend that pregnant animals should only be treated under veterinary supervision.
