Pet Remedy Small Mammal Calming and Bonding Kit

Pet Remedy Small Mammal Calming and Bonding Kit

As guinea pigs are prey animals there are many situations that can cause your piggy to get stressed. Telltale signs that your guinea pig is anxious or upset can range from teeth chattering, juddering and freezing on the spot to wide, poppy out eyes (seeing the whites of their eyes), reacting in a skittish fashion to noises and movement and, in extreme cases, biting.

When we came across Pet Remedy’s clinically proven blend of Valerian, Vetiver and other calming oils, we immediately saw a clear application for small furries. These calming sprays and wipes are ideal in a number situations:

  • When introducing new piggies and bonding them.

  • When transporting your guinea pigs from one place to another.

  • On trips to the vet.

  • During fireworks and other noisy events.

  • When taming a new piggy and getting them used to human touch.

  • When trimming nails or doing a health check.

How does Pet Remedy work?

Pet Remedy works alongside the brain’s natural ‘messengers’ called neurotransmitters, which work by telling the nerve receiving the message either to clam (via CABA pathway) or get ‘fired up’.

In times of stress or anxiety the nerves get over stimulated, which leads on to many symptoms we see in our stressed pets.

The special Pet Remedy blend of essential oils works alongside these natural relaxation pathways to help calm the nerves of anxious or stressed pets.

Pack includes:

  • 1 x 75ml Calming Spray
